Everyday Smoky Look

This is another one of my everyday looks: a smoky eye.

Some of you might prefer to wear this at night. That'd work too, but darken it some and throw on falsies, at night. (I'd probably add a coupla' rhinestones and glitter, too, but that's just me)

Hope you like it!

Would you like a list of products? Let me know.

Natural, Everyday Makeup Look

I remember this was requested ages ago. I'm sorry I took so long to do this. I procrastinate way too much.

Hope you enjoy!

purple.

Created a purple themed look. I realized some people find it hard to wear purple without looking like they got punched in the eye. That's where I come in! :)
Here is the eye look-

I have a tutorial for you, now. Hope it helps!

1.

  • Prime your eye. I used Two Faced's Shadow Insurance.
  • Darken your eyebrows.
2.

  • Using a berry purple eyeliner, draw a line in the direction of your eyebrows, almost as if you would join it but stop halfway.
3.

  • Using the same liner, draw a line in your crease, stopping before the inner corner.
4.

  • Apply a light rose pink all over 2/3rd of the lid.
5.

  • Apply a warm pink all over that, but stopping a little more than halfway into the lid.

6.

  • Using the same eye liner, draw the outline of a larger wing, extending it further than the eyebrows. The previously draw 'V' should be kept intact. (I drew the wing later because I wanted the 'V' to be visible when I was filling in the darker purple)
  • Fill it in with a berry purple shadow, following the shape of the 'V' but blending away the sharp edges.

7.

  • Using a darker purple, go over the wing but stop 2/3rd in. blend with the remaining berry purple.
We're now finally done with purples and pinks. So far, starting from the inner, it is a light pink, a warm pink, a berry purple and a dark purple, respectively. Make sure they're blended seamlessly.

8.
  • Blend in a yellow in the inner corner. Blend it in the light pink really well, or it looks harsh. (In this image, I hadn't blended it very well. Later, I realized my error and blended it in further. But I'd advise you to blend it in well from the start.
  • Using upward sweeping motions, fade yellow out from the top of the wing, make sure to blend it upwards, and not get any on the purple wing.

9.

  • Line your eyes. (I used a gel liner)
  • Create an eyeliner wing along the line of the purple shadow wing. Like a miniature wing inside  a wing. Wing-ception!
10.

  • Apply false lashes and mascara, and you're done with the eyes!
11.  Face: I used a dark berry purple to define my cheekbones, and applied a rose pink blush right above that, and a peachy pink on my cheekbones.

12. Lips: Black Lipstick, with berry purple blended into the center of my lips.

Don't they look awesome?

All done! :)

Hope you liked it!

P.s. This isn't wearable, fi you haven't noticed already. Well, maybe the eyes, if you tone them down a little. Does anything want another eye look similar to this but wearable?

App Inspired Nails - Tutorial.

1. Start with a base coat.

2. Then, paint all your nails white. This causes the other colors to show up brighter.

3. Paint your forefinger a light blue.

4. Paint your middle finger and thumb green.

5. Paint your ring finger orange.

Base colors all done.

6. Now for the design. Draw a white rhombus on your forefinger. Sorry, I have no picture because I just realized the picture is blurry.

7. Next, paint an 'S' in light blue. This is the finished 'Skype' app nail.

8. Next we will do the 'Phone' app nail. Pain the shape of a phone on your thumb. Simplest way to do so - first paint a short diagonal line. Then, draw two squares on either end.

9. Paint a red dot on the top right corner of your thumb.

10. Draw the number "1" in the center of the red circle. (Forgot to take a picture of it - sorry.) This is the finished 'Phone' app nail.

11. Make a large oval on your middle finger. Draw little line from the bottom left side, pointing left.

12. Red dot and the number '1'. This is the finished 'Messages' app nail.

13. Draw an ipod on your ring finger.
- Draw the outline of a rectangle.
- Draw a smaller rectangle inside it, at the top.
- Draw the outline of a circle below that.
- Fill in the gaps, leaving the circle and small rectangle orange.
- Make a smaller white circle inside the orange circle.
This is the finished ipod nail!

14. Paint the top bit of your pinky nail red. Paint only 1/3 red, not half.

15. Write 'Mon' on the red area in white, and write the number '5' on the white area in black. This is the finished 'Calender' app nail. (I'm sorry it's so blurry. My camera was refusing to focus!)

16. Add a top coat to protect your nail design from chipping and to add a glossy shine, and you're all done!

Here are the finished nails:
