Neon Pink and Lime Green Cheetah Print Nailart

I want you all to tell me honestly - how many of you thought I would quit my nail art once IB started?

Let me tell you a little secret: I did. I was positive that i wouldn't have time to doll up my nails.

However, I saw this ring finger nail art trend on beautylish (you can check out my account here) and thought, Wow! This is perfect! So here is what i will be doing from now on - ring finger nail art. This way, I will have pretty nails without spending too much precious time on it. 

What I've done today is a neon pink and lime green (my two favorite colors, yummy) cheetah print on my ringer finger (on both hands).

Yes, I am aware that my nails are frightfully short right now. I broke a nail yesterday. It was a very sad affair, and, as per ritual, I bid my talons a tearful goodbye. 

Optimistic Kim says that they'll grow back in a month so it isn't the end of the world, but pessimistic Kim can't help but wonder how she wil get through that month without her faithful buddies.

...Optimistic Kim wins because she's nice and I like her.

Everyday Smoky Look

This is another one of my everyday looks: a smoky eye. 

Some of you might prefer to wear this at night. That'd work too, but darken it some and throw on falsies, at night. (I'd probably add a coupla' rhinestones and glitter, too, but that's just me)

Harley Quinn Cosplay

I love Harley Quinn. At first, I used to find her annoying, but as I discovered her character further, she's grown on me.

(Also, her undying love for Joker reminds me of what I have with someone. *ahem ahem*)

What I love the most about her is her costume. It's not designed to be very sexy, and that what i like about it the most. It shows how she's badass even without the 'sex appeal' that most female villains have and use as a weapon.

I wish I own her costume so I could do a full-out cosplay, but unfortunately I don't, so instead I used my warpaint skillz to recreate her face.

Gotham City Sirens review + New tumblr

As most of you already know, I am an avid comic book fan.
My favorite comic book so far is the Gotham City Sirens. Why, you ask? It's simple, really. There are three things i look for, and love about superhero comics:
a) Villains,
b) Bad-ass women,
c) Detailed costumes.

And the best part? GCS has all three!

Selina, Harley and Pamela, banded together in one kick-ass comic book series - What's not to love?

Issue #11 had the best cover, in my opinion. I felt like it encompassed all of their talents/powers: Catwoman's cat-like agility (and her ability to use a whip like it's part of her body), HQ's crazy ninja acrobat moves and Ivy's uncanny ability to control plants.

Here are some of my all-time favorite bits from the series:

1: (Right after escaping from being nearly killed by Gaggy, who was impersonating Joker)

I love this, because it's so typical Harley. Her crazy love for 'Mr J' always made me smile. 

2: (Gaggy explaining his story)

The artwork here is amazing. It is a lot of information on this page, but it's delivered without having too many words. Also, look at the way the images are displayed in different shapes - a diamond, a spade, and a club. They're all perfect in keeping with the Joker theme on this page. 

Also, look! Joker's car! 

So i hope you all se why I love this comic series so much. I would have placed a few more bits that i love, but there were so many, and I didn't wanna drag this post out too long.

New tattoo!

Hello, my lovelies!

Today was a very eventful day. It started with me going to Body Canvas, a tattoo parlour, in the afternoon with my brother and one of his band members. We huddled together and discussed tattoos, each of us wanting one. After a couple hours of, yawn, discussion, we finally got down to business! 

I was the first to get tattooed because mine was the smallest. Having already gotten a tattoo, I wasn't really afraid or anything - so I hopped up on my chair with a grin, holding back the excitement threatening to bubble over! It was so hard to keep still. 

I got this tattoo on my wrist - the pain level was significantly higher than my first tattoo (on my thigh), but it was bearable. Of course, only with the help of a few curses and a lot of teeth-gritting.

As he neared finishing, I was near tears and wanted it to be over already! But he began touching up the edges (which looked perfectly fine to me!) , and I was cursing him some...*ahem* colourful words in my head. (sorry, love you!)

What freaks me out the most, is the redness after a tattoo is done. Plus, it was all swollen and disgusting...but it was my new baby, and I loved it already!

It's amazing, and I love it! I want to thank my tattoo artist for doing a bang up job of my sexy tattoo. His name is a Vikas Malani and he has an amazing tattoo parlour. If you need a tattoo and live in Mumbai, i'd recommend checking them out at bodycanvas.in! 

He did both my tattoos, as well as my nose piercing, and he's done a great job.

He's a swell guy, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone but him to tattoo me!

Hello, my lovelies. 

Love this look I created, because I used my new MAC Stars 'n' Rockets eyeshadow (my favorite one so far) on the browbone. It's the lovely purple color you can see. It's amazing and shimmery and reflects so many different purples. It's going to be mentioned a LOT in future posts, I can sense it.
