True Blood + MIA

True Blood has been my latest addiction.
I love it, and it fuels my addiction for all things gory.
I never was a vampire fan, but after getting hooked to true blood, I think I may be forming a slight vamp fixation...
So to honor True Blood, I shall be creating true blood nails. Excited? You should be.
I can't do it this week, because I'm swamped. It's my last year so I got igcse's this year, and it's horrible. I don;t seem to have the time to do my nails!!
Hopefully, I shall do it during the weekend... SO look forward to that!!
I know I have a few posts I've promised and haven't done yet, and that I've been MIA for a while. I've just been super busy. I know that's a pathetic excuse considering the fact that I'm fifteen. I'll bet you're thinking, how busy can a fifteen year old be?
Trust me. You don't want to know.

So, i shall see you soon hopefully.

Shatter.

OPI's Black Shatter Polish.

I wanted it ever since i saw it on the OPI website. Unfortunately, you do not get OPI in India. Fortunately, I went to Paris, and Paris has my love, Sephora.
(I shall be posting a Sephora Haul post later. Gosh, the posts I promise seem to be piling up. One of these days I'm going to have to sit down and finish those drafts I keep saving.)
I bought four Shatter polishes, but I've only tried the black one. I hope the others turn out as addicting and perfect as this one!
Here is what it looks like when applied with a thin top coat -

I've also noticed that the thinner the coat, the more it shatters.

Cherry Blossom Nails

Cherry Blossoms are beautiful, and I love the colours. The combination of pink and white is so feminine, but the black brings in a dash of something spicier.

Here are Cherry Blossom Nails, with just the right amount of glitter to make it pretty-ful.

I started off with a simple white french manicure. Then, using a black polish and a thin brush, i drew on the black branches. Next, with neon pink I drew the flowers and added dashes of white in the center of the flowers to give it more depth. Then, using another clean brush, I mixed the white and pink together on my nail to take away any harsh lines. I finished with a coat of glitter polish (small glitter particles, not the chunky ones.) :)
Don't forget base and top coats!

I am going to attempt creating a Cherry Blossom inspired eye make up look. There will be a lot of pink and white involved, obviously.
Look forward to that for next time!

Back!

Hello my lovelies!
Paris was exhausting.
i know what you're thinking - how can a vacation be exhausting?
I'll tell you how - You get sick!
Yes, I was extremely sick for five days. Five terrible days where I thought I was slowly dying by having the blood sucked out of my brain. (Truthfully I just had a 103 fever, but that was my explanation for the splitting headache I had throughout)
Fortunately, I was okay by the sixth day, and managed to gather enough energy to meet a friend of mie that lives in paris. (I met her in my hotel, I still didn't have enough energy to step out) I also went to Disneyland with her and my family the next day, but that's a story for later!
On the seventh day, I finally left the hotel. The second I stepped out onto the paved roads of Paris, I swear I heard birds singing and bells ringing. I went for a short walk to Fauchon and bought some pretty colourful macaroons. (They're so pretty, I don't have the heart to to eat them! But I always eat them anyway) That simple little walk exhausted me, and I spent the rest of the day in my hotel room again. It was starting to resemble a prison cell. (If prison cells had room service with amazing duck foie gras and Hermes shampoo, that is.)

Here is a result of me being bored and having a tube of sunblock lotion -

I'm not sure why I wasted half an hour doing that on my arm.
Oh well.
